FUTEBOL. Com goleada fora de casa, time sub-17 do Inter-SM continua na vice-liderança do Gauchão A1

On Saturday, the under-17 team of Inter de Santa Maria achieved a commanding 3-0 victory against Cruzeiro from Cachoeirinha, continuing their pursuit of the top spot in Group B of the Campeonato Gaúcho Série A1. This match took place at the RGM Sports complex in Gravataí and was part of the competition’s second round. Goals were netted by Igor, Ruan, and Diego Casagrande.

The next challenge for the Baixada boys in the state tournament is set for this Saturday (26) at 15:00 against Sulbrasil from Porto Alegre, to be held at the Presidente Vargas Stadium. Additional information regarding ticket sales will be shared soon. Following the latest result, the Alvirrubro holds second place, trailing only behind the capital’s Internacional in the standings.

Both teams currently have the same number of points; however, the Colorado sits at the top due to their impressive starting performance, having defeated Progresso from Pelotas 6-0 in their opener and Caxias 5-0 in the latest round, giving them a superior goal difference. In their opening match for the Gauchão Série A1, Inter-SM also faced and overcame another team from the Serra Gaúcha, winning 3-1.
