This Thursday (22), starting at 7:30 PM, the ExpoBrangus arena in Uruguaiana, located in the Fronteira Oeste, will transform into a football stadium. The Brangus Auction Collection 2025 – Road to the World Cup is set to take place, featuring playful references to sports jargon. On the field, only the top athletes from the teams will be showcased in this “championship” — Brangus cattle from various ranches in Rio Grande do Sul.
“We’re invoking the spirit of the World Cup and inviting all breeders to join us with their finest specimens,” emphasizes Gabriel Barros, president of the Brangus South Group, one of the auction’s organizers.
In a catalog designed to resemble a football sticker album, there will be 15 lots of female Brangus cattle from properties including Cabanha 4 Irmãos, Estância Itamainó, and Reconquista Agropecuária.
Beyond sparking interest, Barros explains that the aim is to provide the best of the breed for breeders to secure elite specimens for the World Brangus Congress, which will be held in Brazil in 2026.

Streaming live via TV El Campo and the Brazilian Brangus Association’s (ABB) YouTube channel, the auction will be led by Tellechea and Bastos alongside auctioneer Pedro Bastos.
